BSc Degree Program

The undergraduate Economics and Management program prepares students for professional work in international teams, analytical and entry-level managerial positions in industry, commerce, consulting and public administration, as well as for continuing their studies in Master degree programs worldwide.

In the 2019 intake, students will be able to select from concentrations in Marketing and International Trade. Teaching in concentration classes begins in the Fourth Semester.

Enter the degree program with high school qualification and adequate proficiency in Mathematics and English, and graduate upon gaining 180 ECTS credits, passing final exams and defending a Bachelor's Thesis in three years.

 

Syllabus

Enrol in a curriculum giving you a robust education in subjects including Mathematics, Economics, Management, Marketing and Finance, a selection of technical courses familiarizing you with modern industry, combined with a program in social, communication and cultural competences that facilitate your studies as well as future career in a multicultural environment.

Select a block of concentration courses in the second half of your studies and gain in-depth expertise in a field of your choice. Consider enhancing you personal experience by choosing from a broad offer of opportunities for short-term study mobility in Europe and overseas.

* Week starting on 23.9.2019 is odd with the following weeks alternating until the year-end break.
** Week starting on 17.2.2020 is even with the following weeks alternating. Classes are not taught on 10.4.2020, 13.4.2020, 1.5.2020, 8.5.2020 and 13.5.2020. On Thursday 9.4.2020 classes are exceptionally taught as on an even Friday, on Tuesday 5.5.2020 classes are taught as on an odd Friday.

Tuition

Tuition Fee per Semester: CZK 55,000 (cca EUR 2,200)
Total Tuition Fee (6 Semesters): CZK 330,000 (cca EUR 13,200)

 

A non-refundable one-time Registration Fee of CZK 10,000 (cca EUR 400) is payable upon application for any MIAS School of Business Degree or Preparatory Program. Upon its payment, applicants get registered in the Preparatory Program (with no commitment to study in that program and pay its tuition unless they choose to do so), which may streamline the visa process, where necessary. It also allows them to get comprehensive assistance in the application process, obtain all the necessary documents and take the Entry Exam in the Degree Program of their choice. Students enroling into a Program from any other MIAS Program are not required to pay this Registration Fee.
